New Jersey Devils v. New York Islanders

This was a great hockey game from the start to the finish. It had everything that most hockey fans love from goals coming like they are going on sale to a fight in the first 8 minutes of the game. This was a very big game for both teams since the season is shorter and every game counts more than in a regular season.

For this game since I couldn't bring in my Nikon D3100 since those kind of cameras are not allowed, I decided to go with the Sony NEX-5N that I had won from Unique Photo in a raffle, and this camera did not disappoint me in anyway and I used the 18-55 Lens that came with it.

Well the game was a great game and it went to Overtime with the Islanders coming out with a 5-4 victory which ties them with the New Jersey Devils in record, which means that the Devils have to do some work now and I think they can do it.

Here is the video board showing the New Jersey Devils Logo which was a pretty good photo to have to show the Home team.
Here is a photo from practice of David Clarkson taking a shot on Marty. Tried to get it timed right where Clarkson had already taken his shot and to get the puck off the ground.
During the first 8 minutes of the game there was a fight to get the crowd and both teams in to the game.

Here is Marty again but during one of the Media Timeouts

Islanders Celebrating after their Overtime goal that gave them the 5-4 victory.
Devils Celebrating after getting that 3rd goal to tie the game at 3-3

There is still more of the season to go and hopefully the Devils will get it all together and go on a tear of the Atlantic Division and make it to the Stanley Cup final again
